PHYSICAL LIBRARY CARD
ACCESS TO:
check out books to take home AND have access to digital items on Libby and hoopla (eBooks, audiobooks, etc.)
To get a library card, you will need to come in to either the Main Library or the North Branch with your photo ID.
- If your photo ID does not have your current, Madison County address you will also need to bring something that does (a piece of mail, a bill, etc.)
- If you do not live, work, go to school, or own property in Madison County, you will need to pay for an Out of County card at $25/year. Out of County cards are only available to patrons who live in counties adjacent to Madison County.
- Those with an out of county address will need to bring proof they work, go to school, or own property in Madison County in order to waive the $25 yearly Out of County fee.
- Children under age 17 must have a parent or guardian present with them to apply for a library card.
